Board of Directors Meeting

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors (“Directors”) of Comal County Water Recreational District No. 1 (“District”) will meet at the Island, located between Booneville Ave. and Mulberry Ave., New Braunfels, TX 78130, on Monday July 31, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. to consider and act upon the following matters:,

Board Agenda:

1. Call Meeting to Order
2. Call Roll of Directors
3. Public comments on non-agenda items (limited to 3 minutes per person)
4. Consider approving the Minutes from the Property Owner’s meeting on May 6, 2023 and the BOD meeting from May 2, 2023, the Special BOD meeting from May 24, 2023 swearing in the new Board members, and the Special BOD meeting from June 20, 2023.
5. Discussion and possible action regarding Island Privileges, vacant lot rentals, and multi family ownership.
6. Discussion and possible action regarding dog access on C.C.W.R.D No.1 owned property, including public input: Limited to 3 minutes per person.
7. Discussion and possible action concerning 161 W. Edgewater Terrace.
8. Discussion and possible action on Rules and Regulations regarding reservations language, privilege transfer, and extenuating circumstance rule.
9. Discussion and possible action on USFWS/EAAHCP update on spring remediation.
10. Discussion and possible action regarding Capital Expenses, Repairs, Maintenance, Accessibility and Security issues and needs.
11. Present Current Financials.
12. Discussion and possible action regarding 2023-2024 preliminary budget.
13. Discussion and possible action regarding agenda for Property Owners Meeting on August 5, 2023
14. Adjourn

The Board of Directors may go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to the applicable section of Subchapter D, Chapter 551, Government Code, of the Texas Open Meetings Act (including Section 551.071, to seek legal advice from counsel and Section 551.072 to discuss the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property) on any matter that may come before the Board.  No final action, decision, or vote will be taken on any subject or matter during an Executive Session.  No final action, decision, or vote on any matter may be taken unless the matter is specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting.
