Board of Directors Meeting

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors (“Directors”) of Comal County Water Recreational District No. 1 (“District”) will meet at the New Braunfels Public Library, located at 700 E. Common Street, New Braunfels, TX 78130, on Friday September 20, 2024 at 12:30pm to consider and act upon the following matters:

Board Agenda:

1. Call Meeting to Order
2. Call Roll of Directors
3. Convene Public Hearing on the District’s Tax Plan and Proposed Tax Assessment
   1. Introductory statements by board
   2. Public comments (Limited to 3 minutes each)
   3. Close public hearing ….

4.     Discussion and possible action to adopt the District’s Tax Plan and Proposed Tax Assessment.

5. Adjourn.

The Board of Directors may go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to the applicable section of Subchapter D, Chapter 551, Government Code, of the Texas Open Meetings Act (including Section 551.071, to seek legal advice from counsel and Section 551.072 to discuss the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property) on any matter that may come before the Board.  No final action, decision, or vote will be taken on any subject or matter during an Executive Session.  No final action, decision, or vote on any matter may be taken unless the matter is specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting.
