NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors (“Directors”) of Comal County Water Recreational District No. 1 (“District”) will meet at the Island, located between Booneville Ave. and Mulberry Ave., New Braunfels, TX 78130, on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. to consider and act upon the following matters:
Board Agenda:
- Call Meeting to Order
- Call Roll of Directors
- Public comments on non-agenda items (limited to 3 minutes)
- Consider approving the Minutes from the Board of Director’s Meeting on October 14, 2020 and the Property Owners Meeting on November 7, 2020
- Discussion and possible action regarding the 2020-2021 Budget and Financials
- Discussion on the possibility of using the Comal County Tax Assessor/Collector’s office for CCWRD No. 1 tax assessment billing and collection
- Discussion and possible action regarding current COVID 19 restrictions
- Discussion and possible action on request for a memorial bench
- Discussion of preparations and plans for upcoming Board of Directors election
- Discussion and possible action on updates to Rules and Regulations and Canoe/Kayak Slot Lease Agreement
- Discussion and possible action regarding Capital Expenses, Repairs, Maintenance, Accessibility and Security issues and needs, etc.
- Discussion and possible action regarding agenda for Property Owners Meeting on February 6, 2021
- Adourn.
The Board of Directors may go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to the applicable section of Subchapter D, Chapter 551, Government Code, of the Texas Open Meetings Act (including Section 551.071, to seek legal advice from counsel and Section 551.072 to discuss the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property) on any matter that may come before the Board. No final action, decision, or vote will be taken on any subject or matter during an Executive Session. No final action, decision, or vote on any matter may be taken unless the matter is specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting
