Special Board of Directors Meeting

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors (“Directors”) of Comal County Water Recreational District No. 1 (“District”) will meet for a special session at the Island, located between Booneville Ave. and Mulberry Ave., New Braunfels, TX 78130, on Tuesday August 20, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. to consider and act upon the following matters:

Board Agenda:

1. Call Meeting to Order
2. Call Roll of Directors
3. Public comments on non-agenda items (limited to 3 minutes per person)
4. Consider approving the Minutes from the Property Owner’s meeting on August 3, 2024.
5. Discussion and possible action regarding a plan of taxation.
6. Discussion and possible action regarding a public hearing regarding Tax Assessments.
7. Adjourn

The Board of Directors may go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to the applicable section of Subchapter D, Chapter 551, Government Code, of the Texas Open Meetings Act (including Section 551.071, to seek legal advice from counsel and Section 551.072 to discuss the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property) on any matter that may come before the Board.  No final action, decision, or vote will be taken on any subject or matter during an Executive Session.  No final action, decision, or vote on any matter may be taken unless the matter is specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting.
